Claire G. Coleman is a Wirlomin Noongar woman whose family have belonged to the south coast of Western Australia since before history began being recorded. She has written four books – three novels (Terra Nullius, The Old Lie and Enclave) and a non-fiction book (Lies, Damned Lies) which won the 2022 University of Queensland Non-Fiction award. Her essays, art criticism, short fiction and verse have been published on a number of platforms both in print and online and she is a popular speaker having appeared at dozens of festivals and public events.
She is currently working on her fourth novel, slated for publication in 2027.
