Joanna Nell is the internationally published, best-selling author of six novels including The Single Ladies of Jacaranda Retirement Village, Mrs Winterbottom Takes a Gap Year and The Funeral Crashers. She is also a retired GP and an enthusiastic advocate for positive ageing.
Her short fiction has won numerous awards and been published in magazines, journals and anthologies. She has also written for The Sydney Morning Herald's Spectrum and Sunday Life magazines.
Originally from the UK, Joanna lives on Sydney's Northern Beaches with her husband and looks forward to occasional visits from her adult children.
