Nick Steain is a comedian, actor, and writer known for his dry, self-aware style and understated delivery. Blending observational comedy with a touch of absurdity, his work explores the small contradictions of everyday life with a sharp, slow-burn wit.
Nick has performed across Australia’s comedy circuit, including appearances at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and both the Melbourne Fringe Festival and Adelaide Fringe. In 2025, he debuted his solo show The Error’s Tour, performing in Melbourne, Adelaide and at HotHouse Theatre. In 2026 he reached the Victorian State Final of Raw Comedy, marking him as a rising voice in the national scene.
Alongside stand-up, Nick has worked across screen, with roles in the TV shows Total Control and Secret City.
