Albury Swim Centre – Major Plant Replacement

The consistent management of water quality at the Albury Swim Centre will be improved by the installation of six new filter units in the plant room.

Complete

Located in the heart of Albury on the banks of the Murray River in Hovell Tree Park is the Albury Swim Centre. A favourite venue for locals and visitors to cool down on a hot day in one of 3 pools. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the shade, grab some food and a cold drink at the kiosk or throw a sausage on one of the BBQ’s.

The consistent management of water quality at the Albury Swim Centre will be improved by the installation of six new filter units in the plant room.

They’ll replace the existing filtration system which has passed the end of its useful life.

Under the existing system, any repairs to filters affects the entire filtration operation but the new system will include a valve assembly to allow work to be carried out on individual filters/pools.

This will result in fewer periods of the facility needing to be closed to users through the season.

The works will be carried out by specialist contractors.
