Freestyle Kings Live to land in Albury as part of 2026 world tour
Lavington Sports Ground is set to explode with energy as the high-octane Freestyle Kings Live world tour touches down in Albury on 28 February 2026 - part of a six-country global showcase of elite freestyle motocross talent.
Featuring an all-star lineup of international athletes, jaw-dropping stunts and gravity-defying action, the event cements Lavington’s place on the global touring map and delivers a major win for Albury’s regional events calendar.
Freestyle Kings promoter Josh Hannah said the inclusion of Albury was no accident.
“Regional Australia is front and centre in our planning for live events,” he said. “It has a deep affinity and love for all things dirt bike and BMX, so it just made sense for us to take this tour to Albury.
“This isn’t just a stop on the tour - we’re sourcing everything locally, from machinery and security to food and beverage.”
The event is expected to draw crowds from across southern NSW and north-east Victoria, filling hotels, cafés, restaurants and local venues in the lead-up to the show.
Albury Mayor Kevin Mack said hosting an international production of this scale was a clear demonstration of the city’s growing reputation as a destination for major entertainment.
“This is exactly the type of event we want to attract to Albury,” he said.
“It speaks to the strength of our infrastructure and the appeal of venues like Lavington Sports Ground. We’re proud to be bringing the excitement of a global tour to our community and welcoming visitors to experience what Albury has to offer.”
Headlining the show is freestyle motocross icon Robbie Maddison, returning to the stage with his sons Kruz and Jagger in a multi-generational performance designed to thrill fans of all ages.
“At this point in my career, there’s nothing better than riding with my sons,” Maddison said.
“They’ve got the skill and they’ve definitely got the showmanship. Audiences love them and we’re pumped to bring that energy to Albury.”
They’ll be joined by 20-time X-Games gold medallist Rob Adelberg, a native of regional Victoria and reigning freestyle motocross world champion, leading an all-star international FMX and BMX crew.
“There’s nothing like performing in places like Albury,” Adelberg said. “Make no mistake, these are the best riders on the planet, who will be throwing down tricks that need to be seen to be believed.”
Tickets will be available from 28 August via Ticketek.
