Roadworks restrict access to Monument

Motorists have been asked to avoid visiting Albury’s Monument during working hours if possible, with roadworks to improve access to the site continuing over the next two to three weeks.

25 Feb 2020

The works, which mark the final stage in the Monument beautification project, include new kerbs, drainage and asphalt.

Although the area is under traffic control, visitors will be allowed into the site if they wish to enter.

However, if there is no pressing need to visit, drivers are asked to delay their visit to allow the works to proceed as quickly as possible.

The site will remain fully accessible to vehicles after hours.

Thank you for your co-operation as the work continues.
